Beginning his professional career in 1995 at Halk Bank, Barış Hocaoğlu later worked at Osmanlı Bank. He held various positions at Global Securities Inc.r between 2000 and 2009, and joined Global Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş.(Global Portfolio Management Inc.) as a General Manager.

Following the transfer of the majority shares of the company in 2012, he continued to serve as the General Manager of AZ Global Portfolio, which was a partnership of Azimut-Global until 2015. After the strategic departure of the company as of the beginning of 2015, Barış Hocaoğlu, who started Actus Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. within the scope of Global Investment Holdings, continues to serve as the General Manager.

Barış Hocaoğlu is a graduate of the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences, he specializes in portfolio management strategies and product design.
